upload by FTP

Hi,
I would like to upload files via my ftp client and then link files in the project files' tab.
I ask this because I'd like to let clients download even very large files.
Is it possible?

Currently it is not possible. There was a discussion about adding such a feature (search the forum) but it is not yet "in the pipeline" ;)

Ok, I see. Is there a way, in a hosted environment (site5) to change the upload limit?
I can't access the php.ini file.
Maybe htaccess?

Check out this page. It's totally up to your environment how you'll apply this changes - through .htaccess files, through init file or whatever. Consult your hosting provider about the details.
