Hi,

First post, wanted to say: Great product! Have been looking some time for a good project collaboration product and after going from searching for programs like Twiki, SharePoint and Basecamp finally found your project and I must say: I love it. Easy setup, works nice and has great potential with the coming plugins.

I'm planning to use it on my daily job for project management/control. What I see in our daily business of our staff and our clients is that most of thepersons are email people. Meaning that they constatly check their email, but regularly going to a site to see updated items takes more effort or in most cases they don't check the web site at all. Instead they keep on emailing you, or worse keep on phoning you.

To prevent the above and and create awareness for activecollab I would suggest to have a daily digest that will place all the "recent activities" of the day in a email and send this to all the project members. In this email also place a shortcut to each of these "recent activities" In this way they will kept updated and have easy access to the topics by clicking the links in the email.

In the user account settings you could place a method for persons to unscribe from the daily digest or subscribe only to parts of it.

Digest could be text mail or html mail. If you use html mail you are able to make a nice professional looking email that will greatly help you to get your users accept and use this collaboration tool. For most of us developers a text message would be already very nice, but I see in daily practice that for being able to convice the rest of the company (commercial people etc, I guess you know what I'm talking about) a cool looking email digest can help for new people to accept and to like working with this tool.
