hi,
one thing I still don't understand is the relation of milestones and tasks. Why are that different objects/views?

In practice I go to "tasks" to see what I have to do. But there I do *not* see the deadlines for that tasks (because they don't have deadlines)! So I have to go to "milestones", search for my tasklist and can read the deadline. That's inconvenient!

Why can't task be sub-elements of milestones - presented in one view? The tasks could inherit deadlines from milestones and milestones could be completed automatically if all included tasks are complete.

thanks
orbi

PS
Another nice feature would be a time estimate for tasks, I think.

orbi you can assign a task to a milestone and then it is exactly as you describe it. the only thing missing is the ability to add a task directly to a milestone which i agree should be implemented. otherwise, its 75% there already... and it allows for full flexibility the way it works now.

hi loveactivecollab, I'm talking about the workflow: The avarage user will go into "Tasks" and see some tasks, bundled into tasklists. But in this view he does *not* see a deadline.
The other way round he can go to "Milestones" first, but there he can only see the Tasklists not the tasks ...
(I'm testing v0.7)

So an idea would be combining Task and Milestones view ...
