Known bug. Make sure that you are using PHP5. This one is common for PHP4 (activeCollab is PHP5 only application).

The reply from my Host support:

""
Forrest,

Are you receiving any errors? Is the software you are using compatible with FastCGI?

Hi,

I never tested it on that kind of environment and you are the first person who reported that kind of behavior. We had successful installation with 0.6 on 99% of PHP5 hosting, no one before reported this kind of error.

Is there anyone who installed activeCollab under FastCGI? I know that there are many who installed it on Dreamhost (using PHP5 as CGI installation) but don't know if anyone installed it on FastCGI.

You can ask A Small Orange support to do the installation for you if they wish to help. They know the system. If they fail we need to invastigate this one much closer.

Hi Ilija,

ASO have replied:

"""
Forrest,

I commented out the line in your .htaccess file and was pointed to an error message in your init.php file. If you go to line 78, you will see the framework for connecting to a database. The issue there is none of thje values are filled in.

I uncommented the .htaccess file once I found this. Take a look at that section of your init.php file and fill in the correct info. I do not know for certain that that is the answer, but it looks to be part of the problem.

Mack
"""

Ilija, should i change anything on "line 78" ?

Thanks

Parse error on line 78 is common error. In 99.9% it means that you are not using PHP5 but some version of PHP4. activeCollab works only with PHP5.
