is it any manual or doc that describes aC??
we are planning to make some improvements and add new features by ourselves that suits our needs but its could be very hard without detailed documentation

There is inline API documentation. Whole thing is made around MVC pattern and easiest way to get to know it is to read some introduction Rails tutorials.
