Hopefully you've already seen the need for this, but I would really like to have a link added to the project task view that allows me to add a new task to the list without having to create a form for each task list, and then having to edit the new task to assign it to someone. I didn't see any other way to add a new task to an existing list (I could be wrong, but even so it wasn't intuitive to me). It would sit nicely next to "Edit | Delete | Reorder Tasks."

Thank you for your hard work. This is a great product already!

If I understood you correctly you want a Add task link that will immediately add task to the list? If that is what you are looking for there is one in between active and completed tasks. Just click on the Add task link and you'll have a nice little form that will let you add a new task.

Or there is something else you had in mind?

On this subject, I would like to be able to add a preset number of tasks at once. I like that when I set up the list I can add several items and would like to see this same option when adding more tasks to the list.

Also, it would be great if these task could show up as to-do's in iCal.

Thanks,
Bryan

Oh wow. I stared at that page twice for 10 minutes and couldn't find that link. Sorry to waste your time! Thank you for the response.

Ilja, is it possible to have the Add task form in a task list open at start-up? Entering more than 10 task takes up a lot of time right now, and with the Add taks form open it saves about 10 extra clicks on the Add task link.

I don't see a reason to have the form closed, because it doesn't save that much space to be anoying...

Hm, there is a quick workaround. Whenever you need to add more tasks turn off JavaScript because one JS function is responsible for collapsing the form.

Turning off JS is easy. If you are using Firefox you can use WebDeveloper or NoScript extensions to do that, can't tell you how to do that in other browsers.
