i think global sorting options tweaks would be great to have. mainly, i think the existing sort by name and creation date is fine, but it would be great to sort by last updated, and most-recent activity as well. i hacked in last updated and it was pretty simply but what i really want is to sort by latest activity. basically, this would list objects with the most recent comment activity at the top, sort of like a forum. this would be especially useful for messages, but also for files.
