There are also few other situations where user is looked by email address and number of such situations will grow in the future. Hack at your own risk (I strongly suggest not to).

I am fine with assigning different username and password combos, but I really don't understand why the email addy has to be unique.

1. Is there an easy hack to skip the validation for the duplicate email address?
2. Any other suggestions.
