Hi,
I installed ActiveCollab today and everything went smoothly. Everything seems to be working apart from updating my profile and avatar. Everytime I save I get;

"Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand."

URL: http://projects.mysite.com/index.php?c=account&a=edit_profile&id=1&redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fprojects.lidne.com%2Findex.php%3Fc%3Duser%26a%3Dcard%26id%3D1

I've read here in the forum that this seems to be a common problem. I have taken the following measures:

1. Reinstalled ActiveCollab in a subdomain instead of a subfolder (on my server it's basically only the URL that is affected, both subdomains and subfolders are in folders in the domain root.)
2. Checked the Cache, but there is no log, thus no errors
3. To my knowledge I do not have the "mod_security" turned on in the .htaccess file, and there are no such file in my root directory. The .htaccess files that are in teh Projects/ActiveCollab folder only deals with character encoding.

Any ideas of how I can get the profile and avatar updating to work?

Hi,

My guess is that this is a mod_security issue. You should turn it off.

mod_security is turned on in main Apache configuration file and can be turned off using .htaccess. If you don't have .htaccess file create one and put:

SecFilterEngine Off

in it. If you are having problems with it best thing to do would be to contact your tech support.
