I know that you already have tons of beta testers, but I hope that you will launch an RC1 version before 1.0 final.

It would be really nice if you give SVN access to everybody, so that people can test aC and get familiar with it before its official release... (so when it's ready we know how it works and just install and use it).

Ya. Everyone is dieing to see the next version Ilija. Perhaps in future consider smaller releases. And if you get the community involved in bug testing and contribution. Like maybe an a community that manages new bug submissions or something. Anyways, whatever it takes.. we love it AC and want 1.0!

Actually...just do what you are doing. You have been good enough to release this as open source, and it is an excellent application (v0.71). Genius can't be rushed (v1.0). All good things take time.

Ilija when do you think v1.0 will be coming out? Any timeline at all?

There is no timeline.

Have fun! :)

As excited as I am about v1.0, I'm very happy with .71. Let's just give Ilija the time he needs.

We just started using this after we took a look at BaseCamp. We love the functionality it provides and would like to extend it out (we need it to hook into Quickbooks to do our invoicing, specifically), but I'm hesistant to spend time developing against the current codebase if 1.0 is going to be wildly different.

Ilija, can you give some kind of insight as to how much of the code is going to change in 1.0? From the previews you've show, it's a VERY impressing looking upgrade, so I'm in great anticipation.

What can we in the community do to help?

Somewhere in between 80 and 90%

Just be patient. That's all...
