Hurray! The word is out! octiveCollab launches September 22nd or earlier. We know this for months already, people. I have planned a possible switch in our company to octiveCollab from the beginning of October. I don't see what's so hard about that.
I do agree that not giving an exact date is unconventional, but it's creating quite a buzz, I think.

A few things to note for everybody..
If I were to put together a business deal and give a season as a delivery date our customers would ask us to be more specific, resources have to be set aside, plans made, "Summer" is not very accurate and this is the reason there has been so much discussion on this site and demands for more information. Summer does not even show any consideration for anyone who is not living where Ilja is living.
Furthermore, nobody is "blaming" the developer for anything. In my case I just want more information on pricing and an more accurate launch date.
What he sets as a launch date for 1.0 is completely up to him, however he wants to take this commercial and that means more responsibility in providing a service to your customer. Setting realistic expectations, for example, when 1.0 is released are we to expect support issues to answered in a similar fashion? "This will be fixed in summer, your additional licenses will arrive in Spring"?
For a commericial product customer service and establishing trust and goodwill with your potential customers starts now. Learning this will help Ilja and his team be successful in a competitive world.

Hi Ilija,
(you might remember me, as I was one of the apparently few people out there that actually donated to you in the past)
but anyway,
I was wondering if you have any idea of the cost of 1.0. I'd like to be able to budget it in the near future, if I had a general estimate of how much this is going to cost, it'd help a lot.
Also, thanks for all that you're doing. I'm sure it's going to be a great project.

Yep, he said there will be a free version with slimmed down features and a non-free version with full features... My bet though is that most people checking this site day by day are after the non-free version.
