Error message PHP5 required
Page: 1
This is the error message I get when trying to install:
Installation error: in order to run activeCollab you need PHP5. Your current PHP version is: 4.3.11
I confirmed with jointventuredomains.com that 5.1 is functioning on the server, but for some reason it isn't seeing it.

One thing is for sure - you are not served by PHP 5.1 but by PHP 4.3.11. See with your hosting provider how to enable PHP5 on your own domain.

This is the php info on the site, and the admin area of the site in addition to a conversation with our hosting provider verifies that PHP5 is enabled. Is there an additional setting or configuration that needs to take place?

Maybe PHP5 is enabled for files with .php5 extension only. Than you may have a problem if you provider does not allow you to change that in your own folders. Check out this topic.

hey,
well why dnt you install php 5.2.3 and uninstall the old version of php which is PHP 4.3.11 instead of searching for all .php extension files and changing all the .php extension to .php5 beacause if you miss a single .php extension than u will face an error. You can just visit the PHP website and get the PHP 5.2.3-win32.zip version.
I also have the PHP 5.2.3 and my activecollab is just working cool , as it supports .php5 extension without changing all the extension to .php5 .
So I hope it will work fine for you.
