Thanks for you reply Ilija Studen.

Actually I already tried this, as I saw it in 1 of the forum, before your reply. But was only able to solve the 'gd' extension error and the 'mysql' error was still coming. I did each and everything which was mentioned in the instruction of 'MySQL extension section' but still was not able to solve the problem I dunno why.
I put that 'php_mysql.dll' file in the ext folder i.e., c:/php/ext/php_mysql.dll and also uncommented the extension part of php_mysql.dll i.e., earlier it was ";extension=php_mysql.dll" then I changed it to "extension=php_mysql.dll" which I needed to do in the 'php.ini' file but still the some error. I tried my best but unfortunately was not able to solve the problem.

Then, finally I decided to change from IIS server to Apache server. And IT WORKED!
But not on IIS. I am running activecollab on Apache now and activecollab is running nicely.

I think there was some problem with the php installtion on IIS and hence activecollab was showing the error. Or might be because I installed the php through Installer and not Manually(I mean zip package).

So, I switched to Apache server and then installed php 5.2.3 manually i.e. through zip package and not the installer. And FINALLY EVERYTHING WORKED FINE.

If anyone needs help on the installtion of PHP with Apache server and to implement activecollab.
Can contact me on junaid.kazi@tces.co.in OR junaid_kazi@rediffmail.com OR joemac_83@yahoo.com with the Subject as Appache Installation.
I also have the ScreenShots for the same.

Anyways, ACTIVECOLLAB is a COOL APPLICATION.
I am sure YOU gonna LOVE it once you install it.

THANKS AGAIN TO EVERONE WHO TRIED TO HELP ME.

Hello every1,

I am using PHP version 5.2.3 , MySQL 4.1 and i am trying to run activeCollab on IIS 5.1 server.
Everything is working fine till I reach the Step 1:Welcome.

In the Step2: Environment checks, I am getting the following:-

Step 2: Environment checks
OK: PHP version is 5.2.3
Error: 'mysql' extension is not loaded
Error: 'gd' extension is not loaded
OK: 'simplexml' extension is loaded
OK: /config/config.php is writable
OK: /public/files is writable
OK: /cache is writable
OK: /upload is writable

So can any1 please help with the 2 errors which I am getting as shown above. I have no idea what 'gd' is. I have just been through few search sites in which I came to know that 'gd' extension is used for avatars and logos and I have also seen in 1 of the forum that we can remove the 'gd' extension checkstep by going in the ChecksSteps.class.php which is in public/install/installation/steps. And I have also read that deleting the 'gd' extension checkstep will remove the 'gd' extension error but I might come across some error in the future. Is it True?

And if its True then someone please help me with the installtion procedure of the 'gd' extension as I dont want any errors in the future.

And also can anyone please help me out to clear the 'mysql' extension error. And also with the installtion procedure for the 'mysql' extension error.

Thanking you in ADVANCE.

Please reply as soon as possible.
