Worked like a charm!

Except... I want to be able to access this remotely, not just on this computer, which you can only do with MAMP Pro, which I can't afford to purchase.

So back to my original question: how do I create a database and where do I find the information to put in step three of the ActiveCollab installation?

I'm trying to install ActiveCollab on a Mac. I've successfully installed PHP with the MySQL extension and set all the proper permissions.

I'm getting stuck on step 3 of the installation wizard. I don't know where to find the information that goes in any of the fields.

It seems I need the same help as the person in this post:
http://www.activecollab.com/forums/topic/578/
That person was directed to this post:
http://forum.activecollab.com/viewtopic.php?id=84
which, unfortunately, no longer works.

I think I need to create a database, which I don't know how to do. So how do I do this on my Mac?
