Time report when completing tasks

It would be very nice to be able to report time when marking tasks/tickets as completed. This would get rid of many extra steps needed today when reporting time.

What a very good idea! I would certainly be able to make good use out of this feature.
Or punch in on a task (like the good old days) and stop time when the task is completed..

Our team just came up with this same feature request when evaluating the tool. Prompting people to enter their time for a task as soon as they mark it complete would greatly improve the quality of our estimating and billing processes.
It seems like this would be an easy AJAX call to make. I'd build it myself, except I don't want to hack AC at all...and preclude myself from having a simple upgrade path when future versions come out.

+1... except that you should be able to complete and adjust time independent of each other. Punch out may not reflect that other items were addressed which belong in other tasks (or taking a break) and may not complete the task.
