When I first tried the Quick Add button in the demo, I decided that it would make a great bookmarklet. If somebody could whip up a javascript that can pop that either as a window in itself or as an overlay over any page I'm on, that would be spiffy.

When you say " as an overlay over any page I'm on" you mean on any page of activeCollab? If that is case, then quick add button should be working on any activeCollab page.

No, I mean no matter where I am on the internet. Not that it would need to interact with those pages, but just so I'd have some place to enter the info without having to go to my aC site first. Just being lazy. :-)

We were considering desktop applications for those purposes in one of our next versions. But in the meantime maybe we could spend some time on making that kind of plugin for browser. By the way, which browser are you using?

I'm using OmniWeb on the Mac, which is essentially the Safari/WebKit core.
