Hello,
we are definitely thinking about using aC for our business. It looks perfect for our needs. But there is one thing i am missing at the moment: Contacts....
We want to have one database for all our contacts for all our team members. Are you planning to add such a module?

People section can be used as a basic contact management system for now. We do plan to improve it but I really cannot give you any more details at this point. We'll experiment with few ideas, listen to your suggestions and see how it goes from there.

Vcard import would be the most universally useful feature to add to the contacts area. But beyond that, some direct Mac Address Book sync would be nice, and along with Basecamp importing, the ability to import from Highrise would be nice too (and another way to steal away some 37signals customers)

I was just thinking of the vCard or .vcf import feature. Would be great to mass import our Basecamp info too.

It would also be nice to see microformats used in the contact/people pages. Microformats will be native in FF3 and is rumoured to be native in ie8.

Nothing significantly changed with people management in activeCollab 1.1 (except new permissions system).
