I'm pretty much ready to purchase AC (prob. this week) ...but am a little hesitant because the demo doesnt really show me the admin features. I'm also concerned about what my client will see when they login? I want the interface as USER FRIENDLY as possible for them with the least amount junk as possible. So, could a staff member or someone who has purchased AC help me with the following questiuons:

#1. What ADMIN features are available in AC
#2. What kind of permissioning can we (admins) set for the Clients
#3. What do the clients see when they login? Do they see the same interface as the staff? Can Admins set permissions for what the client can/cannot see / edit such as tabs
#4. Can Admins specify what OBJECTS the client can/cannot see (ie: make some takes/notes/discussions visable to client but not others)?

Thanks

Administration features include modules (plugins) management, system preferences, roles management and various tools like test utilities, mass mailer etc.

They can pick the projects clients can see and access. On project level they can set what action can client execute in a given project section. You can check this out on People page in the public demo.

Tabs cannot be hidden from clients currently, but you can control what they can do on a specific tab - create new objects, edit or delete existing ones, complete tasks etc. Permissions are given per project.

Members of owner company can mark objects (discussions, tickets, pages etc) as private and they will be visible only to other members of owner company. Clients will not be able to see or access them.

Thanks for your answer... One more question... What do clients see when they login? Is their interface similar/exactly like the admin's? Are the same objects that are on the admins home page, on the clients home page? And are these objects configurable (ie: can we specify which objects are visable oin the clients home page and whoch are not?)

Interface is the same, but some feature are disabled based on their permissions. System is not configurable, but it is designed to provide useful information.

If you think that is too complex or does not suite your needs you can always use our plugin architecture and implement it the way you like it.
