Not at this point, sorry. Hiding complete application sections from clients seams like a pretty common request and we'll see what we can do about it in the upcoming versions.

We have this (imho much common) model of contracts:

investor > *our firm* > subproviders

We need, that investor can see another informations (messages, timetracking, etc.) than various subproviders. Generally we need to divide *read* permissions.

In AC 0.71 we have to made some "subprojects", because only PRIVATE attribute is not enough.

We're deciding about buy AC 1.0 and the question is: Is the model of client's permissions in AC 1.0 more complex? Or is it 0.71 like, i.e. for clients reading there is only PRIVATE flag - hide from all clients...

Hi,

Default visibility sets what visibility value will be selected by default on New Discussion, New Ticket etc forms, does not have anything to do with actual visibility of objects. It is added just to help you not make private information visible to your clients by accident.

Ability to make some parts of the system invisible to clients is not yet supported, but you can hide a ticket from your clients by marking it as private (setting its visibility so they are visible only to members of your company).

In setting up my projects I want to make sure that my clients users can't see the Tickets and Time Tracking functions in AC.

When I add my user clients to the project I leave those options unchecked in the user privileges. Yet when I log in under my client users account I can still see the tickets and time tracking tabs and access the information on those pages.

I checked the "Objects are hidden from clients by default" button when I created the project.

Any hints?
