Basecamp migration tool...
Page: 1
Not sure where to post this, but is there any news on whether this is going to happen?
One of my clients is looking into possibility of migrating to activeCollab from Basecamp and since I made a recommendation, I guess I would be the one responsible for potential migration.
Is there any chance to see this kind of tool implemented by core team any time soon or it would be better to start digging and get this implemented on my own?

I have a programmer currently working on migrating us from basecamp. I'll have to see if there is a possibility of his work being usable by others.
Hi
We have loads of data in basecamp and would be very keen to move it to Activecollab.
More than happy to stup up some cash if someone can help - or if others are equally interested to get a programming team to come up with a solution! I am sure there are a lot of people in the same situation as me - we pay $1200 a year for Basecamp - and paid $400 for AC - doing the maths if there were a few other people in a similar situation it could be worth clubbing together to pay soemone to do this as a project.
Any thoughts?
Best wishes
Jez

We're also looking very closely at ac as an alternative to our Basecamp subsciption. If there was a way to migrate it would probably seal the deal for us right now. Either an XLM upload or using Basecamps API to login and drag everything across would be fantastic.
It's just the files that would need to be manually moved at the moment I think.
