Ticket Assignment Notification

When a person is assigned to a ticket after the ticket is created, it would be nice if they could receive an e-mail notification for the ticket itself. If I want to notify someone that I have assigned them to an existing ticket I have to subscribe them to the ticket and then post a comment.

Yes. I would also like to notify them when the priority or due date changes. This way they can know if a ticket gets escalated.

As my company is looking to consolidate applications, this functionality is highly desired.
We are interested in jetisoning Bugzilla, in hopes of keeping everything under one roof. The email functionality would really help in that way. We do not have the great need for the fine level bug tracking that bugzilla offers, and as such the tickets system in activeCollab is fine.

I have just gone through a guided tour with one of our IT dept. I noticed that the email templates do not show any email options for Tickets. Is this correct, or do I have a partial installation. I would expect that Tickets would have a very robust email template setting under the the
"Dashboard» Administration» Settings» Email templates» All". But I see nothing. Any help is appreciated.

task_assigned, task_completed and task_reopened are used by Tickets, Tasks and Milestones.

OK, so something else is going on with our install. All other email come through, except Ticket assignments.
