Timetracking for Checklists?

Is there anyway to allow for timetracking on items in the checklist? Or am I not interpreting the checklist correctly?
I thought checklists were similar to "tasks" in the old AC? If so, then it would make sense to track the time of each task rather than a blanket time statement under "Time". I see that the functionality exists for "Tickets" but not "Checklists" or their Task lists. Just want to make sure I'm using the system properly.

Uh, good. You didn't use "Bump!" or something like that...
System supports tracking time for tasks internally, but this feature is not yet available in the user interface. This means that in activeCollab 1.0.x you can track time only with tickets. We plan to work on better time tracking integration with the rest of the system in the near future. That will include time tracking support for tasks (if time tracking module is present, of course).
