Just use localhost. When installer is done open config/config.php and change ROOT_URL value to value you need. Installer URL checker is too restrictive at the moment...

I'd like to use my local network IP address but the installer gives an error "invalid base url". I got around this by using 'localhost:9001' but this means that non of my collegues can use activeCollab via my machine.

Can you suggest a way to get a local version running via an intrnal IP address?

We just bought the Corporate version and installed it successfully thanks. Is it possible to install AC on one of our 'local' machines so we can use it as a training example for our staff prior to letting them loose on the official version?
