I live in the UK but I am an individual ( I do not have a company) . I was looking into buying the full version of activecollab but find im being charged 17.5 % corporation tax .

Since I am an individual not a corporation , is there a way on the order form to avoid this tax ?

thanks

Hi,

As explained on pricing details page: "If you are EU customer without valid VAT ID, VAT will be added to the prices listed above. We collect this VAT and pay it directly to the authorities." This tax is enforced by your government and our payment gateway is obliged to collect it and pay it back to authorities. This process is fully automated and there is no way to work around it.

Options you have is to ask a friend who owns a business and has a valid VAT ID to make a purchase for you. Also, if someone from country that does not collect VAT (US for example) makes an order VAT will not be included.

atencorps,

Individuals are meant to pay VAT.
