Just installed this on a dreamhost website that is also running an ExpressionEngine cms. I received all Oks when running the installer but I received a blank white page and the message, no input file specified when clicking the link to login. I've uploaded all files into a directory called ac. I used the URL http://www.exampledomainname.com/ac as the URL during the install. I searched the forum and saw a few posts that are similar but no real solution to fix this specific instance.

Yeah, this is common with Dreamhost servers. Just follow these instructions and you'll have 100% clean URL-s and fix this problem.

I'm still experiencing the same issue after adding the htaccess file and changes to the config file.

Hm, strange. Can you please check the version of activeCollab you have installed? If it's v1.0.4 please contact us at support@a51dev.com and send us link to your activeCollab setup and FTP connection parameters so we can take a look.

Thanks

Hi Rob,

You are right, htaccess solution proposed in knowledge base does not cover your server. It did the trick for all Dreamhost servers I've encountered so far, but obviously there are some cases when it does not work. If anyone else stumbles upon this problem please try htaccess file provided on this page and if that does not gets the job done contact support and we'll see to fix it ASAP.

This problem is present in v1.0.4. Easier way to fix this type of problem will be provided in the next release.

Thanks very much! I can log in now. I wanted to see what the htaccess code looked like but the link above goes to the settings page. Thanks! :)

Ok, sorry - wrong Knowledge Book entry. Link is fixed :)

Solution used on your server is a bit different than the one explained on that page. Important part is that it's working :)

Ok, got it - I just wanted to back up/reinstall my files if needed. I was able to download the htaccess file from online and I can go from there if need be. Thanks for all your help getting it going! :)
