Thank you for the suggestion, we'll see what we can do about this. While I agree that this option might be useful to great group of users we still need to experiment a bit to best fit it with existing forms.

I think each user should have a preference: "Auto-subscribe me to discussions I start." And the default for that option should be "Yes."
