Expenses instead of Time?
Page: 1
Instead of the limited tracking of time, how about changing the section to "Expenses" and allowing subcategories where you could add time and expenses? For instance, one could add information for time or services like proofreading, design, development, hosting etc... time and expenses under each project. It would be helpful for larger projects that have outsourcing, material and/or vendor costs in addition to time. Not to complicate further, but these in turn could be tied to tickets and milestones. I think this would make for a nice simple at-a-glance way to track expenses since most projects typically have time and resources allocated to them as well.

This would be really nice. For several work we have several fees to be paid by our customers. What's about assigning "time units" and an "article id" or "fixed price" to an item, and a table to map this entries?
For example
3 time units of "Remote Hands, 15 min" -> 3x 25,-
3 time units of "Programmer's day" -> 3x 800,-
and so on...

Easiest way to give us what we need would be to have time tracking entries changed to allow a selection between time & expense, and if expense, the $ amount would be captured instead of hours. This would be exceptionally useful.
