For some people, that might be a good solution.

I don't use sugarCRM, though, so I just need some info on how to create my own page to link into the API.

This is one of the most important features for me, and I would love to build it myself if I had a clue how using the API. It doesn't necessarily have to be an email. Just a web form for inputing a ticket would do the trick.

Actually, it is because i am using that kind of thing with BugTracker (http://sourceforge.net/projects/btnet) but evaluating aC.

Like cbtrussell said, if it is not built-in at the moment, i could use the API to make it work that way.

I was just wondering since there is not alot of documentation on the website on features by module.

A product called TeamworkLive has GREAT email integration (both incoming and outgoing), I hope Ilijah takes it for a spin to get some ideas.

aC is supposed to have a robust API, you should be able to use that with your own forms to inject tickets or other content items.

That said, I would *love* to see a return of "forms" to aC, just like the original version... where we could create custom forms for our clients within aC and have the output routed to the module of our choice. For example, rather than expose a client to the 'ticket' system, we could create a designated 'bug report' form, and have that submission generate a ticket. Very powerful stuff!

Great idea Karlitos! +1
I'd also like to see something like this work in the case of having a (support/enquiry) form on your website, and once completed a new ticket would be created in aC

Hi!
is there a way to configure the Tickets module so an email sent would create automatically a ticket.

If someone send an email to support@mywebsite.com, i would configure for a project the Ticket module so it gets email from support@mywebsite.com to automatically create a new tickets.

Just wondering.

Thanks
