I'm looking into aC as a possible solution for our business needs; still I have one query. Does it have a recurring tasks function?
Let me explain myself. Lets say I create a Project named "Backup Routine" and I need to have a group of people attached to this Project. Then I would need to input a backup schedule into the project so that anyone from this group will be informed of this event on that that particular date as per schedule. He would also be able to mark the event as closed & post some messages if needed. I would like to be able to add other scheduled events if needed in the same project or cancel if needed, so that it doesn't appear.
activeCollab does not currently support recurring tasks. We'll consider adding this feature in the future, but there is no such thing in the system at the moment.
This would be a great feature I think. In combination with checklist templates I can write down the workflow for the monthly billing work for example. My employee will then have the "billing"-checklist assigned every month 1st...
We need this as well. Would like to have a reoccurring task called "Weekly Status Meeting", it would send an email reminder to the team. Would be greatly helpful since we don't have any other scheduling system for our team.
