Hi, I work for a small Design Agency in the Netherlands and we are looking for collaboration tool. I have tried a few competitors among SugerCRM, which could satisfy our needs because of the extensive amount of options. But there is a big downside to Sugar, it's far from user friendly and complicated for easy use.

I really dig ActiveCollab because of it's simplicity and user friendliness. But I'm missing some very helpful features that I have found in Sugar.
On this forum I have found some feature lists, among the improvement of the time tracker module. That's a big plus!

I need to make a decision very soon to select a package. Because my college's are stressed out because of bad project planning.
But I'm still missing some features that I really need for our studio. If version 1.1 contains the features that I'm looking for and has release date within Q2. I am definitely going to wait.

Is there a final feature list for version 1.1 and a release date?

I really understand how much effort this takes. I totally agree that it takes a lot of energy.

Though I find it a bit strange that the final feature list isn't know when so close to releasing a beta version. When starting developing 1.1, I would expect that a list of demands and goals is know, how could you else work towards a final version when it's unknown which features it holds. Then you would never finish a final version because it's always in progress.

I will await cause I just really like the current version and I am very curious for the Beta. :)
Will there be an online demo of the new beta version?

I've just finished some final tweaks to Upgrade script (tool similar to installer that transforms your database, moves stuff around and makes sure that your tables and data are up to date). When done we'll upgrade a couple of setups we have running and play with them. If we don't find any major issues with the beta you can expect a release tomorrow.
