There seems to be some light at the end of the tunel ...
So, beta 1.1 has "improved search" features... you mean, search actually works on the beta 1,1 ? We've given up using AC 1.04 for the same reason we also gave up on the 0 series... we got drowned in content and in the end, the whole site was unusable as we could not retrieve information via the non functional search window.
@davidm, you mentioned that you actually cloned AC1 onto the beta AC1.1 ... is there some step by step on how we can achieve this ?

I am testing 1.1 Beta and all I can say is AWESOME. You fixed many of the things I've been asking for and added so much more. Very nice. Thanks for this excellent update. Can't wait for it to go live.

I had a friend install Beta 1.1, and he gave me access so I could check out the mobile version on my iphone - very cool!

I'm pretty tempted to download it and try it out too.. there's a lot of features I've been waiting for but I'm still waiting for stable version :P don't suppose your friend could take a photo of aC on the iphone for a little teaser for the rest of the group? I'm curious as to how the interface will look.

We had screenshots prepared for a blog post but I never got to writing it. I'll see to find some time during this week (finally in development state where I can spend more time in Pages than in code editor).
Goran used iPhone development guidelines when he was working on the interface. There was no reason to reinvent the wheel and introduce yet another look and feel. Only "different" thing is the menu, but it looks really cool if you ask me.
