To have non-system modules actually marked as non-system execute following query:

UPDATE acx_modules SET is_system = '0' WHERE name NOT IN ('system', 'resources', 'milestones')

When done delete all cch_ files from /cache folder and refresh modules page.

I've added this to upgrade script so it will be handled automatically in the future builds.

@kthomas,ebatte,Ilija - thank you for your quick help! I didn't check the Role settings - it's clear now.

@Ilija, I followed the instructions in this post http://www.activecollab.com/forums/post/12240/#post12240 and installed all available modules.

Than I recognized that I can easily deinstall the module e.g. Exporter. But for all system modules the uninstall options is not provided.

River:
Could somebody help me to find the Status module (Adds twitter-like functionality to activecollab)? I installed it in admin panel, but don't know how to use/find it.

Status module adds a new system permissions. You need to go to Administration -> Roles and set witch roles can use Status module.

You are not the first who expected it just to work without jumping through additional hoops so we definitly need to better communicate this. Permission is there to let you better control your communication process and access to your data, but we need to tell you that new permission is added and that you need to update roles.

River:
I use the corporate version and installed the checklist-module. How can I deinstall it again? For other modules (not system modules) an option "Uninstall this module" is provided.

What is the problem? You use activeCollab 1.0.6 Corporate, upgraded and now cannot uninstall Checklists module? Or?

With v1.1 only modules that cannot be uninstalled are system, resources and milestones. Any other module can be uninstalled and optionally completely removed from /activecollab/application/modules folder.

The Status module is controlled with permissions. Go to Admin->Roles and you'll have to add permission for each Role you desire to use the Status module.
You can also uninstall Checklists in Admin->Modules->Checklists.

@River: you have to give a class of users (like admins) the permission to use it, and then it should appear in the header section. YMMV, I haven't gotten it to function.
