+1 on meetings... or better yet have the calendar act like a calendar.

What I mean is I would like to add events to the calendar even if they are not project related. This way things like company holidays, employee birthdays and other company wide events can be scheduled, published and tracked. All, hopefully, so they do not interfere with project schedules, or the other way around.

The gannt chart feature would be fantastic. With dealing with bigger clients, giving them the perception that we are well organised and on-task is crucial in landing the big projects. Some larger companies insist on seeing things like a tangible project plan before they let the project go ahead so this would be great for us.

I never got a chance to use the old gannt charts module but it would be good if this was an optional module again maybe rather than a core feature.

Indeed you promise nothing and this is why I prefer asking before buying a license.
Sorry, we do not discuss upcoming features until they are ready for testing.

PS: We never promised that these features will be added, only that we'll consider them.

Hi,
I am currently evaluating aC among other pms for my organization, so my current experience with the system is only through the test setup offered by aC. I would like to see three added functionalities:

1. Meeting as a project artifact. Meetings could have an associated project, a date, a location, maybe duration, a list of participants, a list of associated documents, a list of associated pages, etc. Meeting outcomes could be additional documents, and possibly a set of action items which could be realized as check lists, tasks, and milestones, but the system should be able to associate them with the meeting as an outcome.

2. It really annoys me that I cannot enter a calendar event directly into the calendar when viewing it. It seems to be contrary to any calendar functionalities I am used to as a user. I wish I could pick a date in the calendar view and then choose to add a milestone, task due date, meeting, etc. from there.

3. A simple Gannt chart, including over all project progress as well as individual task completion is one of the few project management system requirements I have on my list that aC does not seem to support fully.

I just want to mention that I really like the interface, and I would pick aC over other pms because the simple and usable interface will make it much easier for me to get the various individuals in my organization to use it.

Thank you :)
