Not commenting on the feature request itself, just on the above statement. <br />

In this particular case, desktop application will almost always offer more than web application can. It can detect when you're away from the computer, interface is more convenient (in Tray or Menu Bar with auto-start when OS loads) etc. Some people (me included) find value in good desktop applications, even when they just provide something web application they interact with already has and are willing to pay for that.<br />
<br />
PS: We are aware of the problems with URL that is required for API. Our attempt to cover different servers and their &quot;quirks&quot; (some installations of IIS and some weird Apache setups) made preparing URL-s for use with API overly complicated and error prone. We'll see to address this in the next major release.</p>]]></description>

Unfortunately it seems like Ilija isn't interested in it at this point, so it wasn't included in the latest release.<br />
<br />
This mod simply implements a stopwatch which creates Time records, which can then be reported on &amp; exported to Excel using the regular AC functionality.</p>]]></description>
