Thanks for your suggestions.

We will update our "edit" buttons, your advice makes sense ;)

activeCollab screencasts are planned and there is some work already done there, but, at the moment, we are unable to tell you when they will be finished and published.

Fully Hosted Demo has been re-launched today (it was active for a short period of time a few months ago), and anyone who applies for it will get a $10 discount for eventual purchase of activeCollab SmallBiz or Corporate version + data backup from demo (if needed).

It would be very useful to have the aC demo site (../try/) populated with more data. e.g.

1./ 3 projects
2./ 2 or more clients
3./ Logins for one of the client accounts... so we can see what they can/cannot see

I know I could follow the "buy and try" route... But TBO that is a BIG investment of time to do that. Like most visitors, we want to get the look and feel of the thing within 5 minutes.

Perhaps a video (Camtasia) demo of a fully populated site, with voice over, would be useful too.

PS. I just noticed that if I *edit* my post, there is a button at the bottom of the edit screen called "edit post". But I think it should be called "save changes"!

Just this morning we upgraded activeCollab demo on this website to activeCollab 1.1. This demo has some limitations, but it is great if you want to experience activeCollab interface, see how projects are structured and what tools you have at your disposal when managing them. Request a demo account here (please use REAL email address - you will not be able to create an account with a fake one).

Limitations:

- No administration access
- You are not able to create new assignment filters
- You are not able to create new time reports
- You get one project and company for testing when you create an account, but you can't create additional projects or companies
- You cannot change people roles

If you wish to test activeCollab in real environment, with real projects and people we suggest that you take advantage of our 30 days money back guarantee. Purchase activeCollab and use it. If you don't like it within 30 days just send us an email and we'll give you your money back, no questions asked.
