Hi Ilija, I didn't test the upload functionality in that fresh installation yesterday, before I dropped the tables and imported the SQL dump.
But I just did 10 minutes before a new v1.1 installation (didn't copy old folders to the new installation) with 1 test project and tried to upload a small file as Administrator -> same error popup.
So this seems to be an environment issue not data/sql issue.

Edit: By using firefox 2.0.0.14 and extension LiveHTTPHeaders and trying to upload a file a got the followings messages (Line 92 looks strange).
Maybe this helpful for debugging

With fresh installation v1.1.1 the popup message "error" is gone, but upload still fails.

As I mentioned in previous message - we cannot reproduce this ANYWHERE. All setups (ours and from other customers) we have access to are working as expected. Please, if you can install it on other, publicly available server or give us access to your machine we would be more that glad to check what the problem is, but we cannot help you if we cannot see what is happening.

Don't get me wrong, Ilija. This was just information, I know that's a special, strange issue.
I will make some more tests and will try to find a way to provide access.

Not a problem. I would be really happy if this issue was not present and feel kind of bad because it is. If you can provide us access or something I'd be more than happy to see what the problem is and fix it.

We are getting the same failing silently (no error message) - for icons, files as attachments and when uploading to the files module - the error message is simply "one uploads failed".

Is this a roles and permissions issue becuase we noticed when we upgraded that many peeople we had listed as contracotrs could not only see tickets - they only see people and calendar tabs - we need to know how to fix both the uploads and tabs asap. please

the rest of the upgrade looks great! Thanks!

Regarding file upload issue - is there an option to give us FTP access so we can check what the problem is?

Permissions - open a specific project, go to People and see which permissions particular users have. In order to see a tab user needs to have at least Has access permissions. You can also define Project Roles - predefined sets of content roles so you can set them only once and assign them to users in one click.

PS: For people who reported file upload issues on XAMPP - we tested on Windows XP and Vista and found no problems. One of our developers uses XAMPP for testing on Windows and never experienced any problems in the past. It's something else...
