Hi,

I am having the same 'problem'. I have a project, with milestones and tasks assigned to a developer who is a member of the owner company. I have a client company with a client member who has a system role with system access, and a custom project role with 'has access' for milestones. I did this so the client can see the current milestones. The problem is the client can complete all the milestones, eventhough he is not assigned to them.

It would be nice if i could give the client access to the milestones, so he can view them, but not complete or edit them. Is there a way i could do this?

Hi Ilija,
that would be perfect...
unfortunatelly it doesn't work on my system...
also assinged tasks can be completed by anyone in the project...

maybe this is due to a other error (assigned tasks are not shown in "my tasks" for all users withoud administrator)
For this issue i already wrote a support-mail...
maybe you can check the feature of permitting completition of assigned tasks, when resarching the other problem...
thank you very much...

When tasks (tickets, milestones, subtasks) have no assignees it is considered that anyone involved with the project can pick it up and complete it, including clients. To make sure that only your team can complete tasks / milestones etc just assign them to your team members and your clients will not be able to complete them.

Hi guys,

I want to give my customers access to the system.
Is there anyway to restrict that this users can only complete tasks, tickets they are assigned to? (for example for aproovment of a production)

At the moment, when i give access to tickets or chechlists this users can also complete our internal tasks..
also i think its better if the customer can see the milestones and dates that are made...
but if i give access to this feature he also can edit and complete milstones...

any idea?

The best thing would be a function to set, that a user only can change oder complete things he is assigned to?
what do you think?

Greetings Marco
