i would like to ask my company just upgraded to 1.1 we were having problem with PROJECT ROLE system our staff and client members were not able to c any of the milestone although they were receiving emails on any changes that had taken place .. what could be the problem ..
please reply we had to return to 1.06 cause we had a loss without the ac working fine our clients were shouting on us ...

Problem with people not being able to see specific objects is usually permission related. Here the common scenarios:
1. Users who were previously able to see certain objects because they are marked as private, but user does not have can_see_private_object set to Yes in his role.
2. User is not added to a specific project. Previously administrators and project managers were able to see everything by default. Now they need to be part of the project in order to see in in active projects list.
3. Users project level permissions / role restrict access to specific sections. Open a project, fin the user on People page and click on little icon with a key. Make sure that user has a proper role set or proper set of permissions. Project role is technically predefined set of project permissions and you can check it on Administration > Roles.

Ok i made a fresh INSTALLATION on my local server the problem i am facing is the same ... when i assign a miliestone on a project with i login as a MEMBER i cannot see the milestone finish date in my CALENDER what could be reason ?? but i can see the members CALENDER schedule that is ... but the finish data is viewable in the tabs calender .. why is it happening.
