We, also, are looking for this. We would like to open tickets to clients for both entering and viewing for a specific project. The form for viewing the project would be limited to one running comment from the client and one running comment from the development team. We have about 30 projects on activecollab and growing now. The system is great! A nice little client portal would be perfect.

This is exactly the feature we are looking for as well. We would love to see a full ticket system in AC as described by Bart.

I agree with Bart. Even with the "Public" posting feature that is available now in AC, it's hard to associate them to specific projects, as it has to be done manually and I don't even think notifications work when a Public posting is created.

Since this topic has had 50 views and no responces it's maybe not exactly clear what we are requesting. We would like for AC to be able to intercept mails to, for example, support@domain.com and assign the mails a unique ID and offer us a way to respond to those mails from within AC. AC could also group all messaes with the same ID for easy follow up (and display it like a forum-thread).

Hello,

for the moment we are using ActiveCollab and loving it, we also use another system as a ticketing system to follow-up client support/helpdesk requests. So we have a system for our project management and one for handling tickets submitted by our clients.

It would be a great to include a ticketing system in the ActiceCollab project so we can dump the other software.

Have you guys got plans for developing a sortlike module or does anybody know a thirdparty extension which has this kind of functionality?
