Email has stopped working on subscription items

Hello
I tried the utility to test emails and that works. But Ac no longer sends emails to subscribed parties (including myself). I checked all setting and everything seems ok. ANy ideas what I can do to get that back up and running? It also no longer sends emails with passwords or when I reset passwords.

Do you use native mailer or SMTP server? If SMTP is it by any chance GMail or Google Apps?

I am using native for now. I tried SMTP as well. The email address being used to mail to is gmail as well as domain hosted email addresses.

First, you can turn on debugging as described here (set DEBUG to 2). This should log any mailing errors in daily logs. They are saved in /logs folder so you can check.
If it stopped working without you changing anything something else changed. Ask your hosting provider or system administrator if they changed something.
PS: Subscriptions, welcome messages, reset password emails - they all share the same code that sends out emails. If it does not work activeCollab cannot send out any email.
