I have progress bar inside browser (Opera). Try to not use Internet Explorer ;o)

Still, I need to point that, as with any hack, you are the one who will need to maintain it when you decide to upgrade and that things can be pretty complicated due to complexity of application.

We never comment on future features until they are implemented and ready for testing. It's just the way we work.

For other objects you can attach one file when creating an object and additional files using Manage Attachments tool (available in Options dropdown for most objects or the little paperclip icon for comments).
