+1 ... This would be a nice visual.. It wouldn't really improve how we use aC, but agree it would look nice.

I'd love to see 'stop watch timing' function/widget before this!! ;)

I use firefox for starters and the progress bar at the bottom of the screen is useless in terms of accuracy for the 100mb+ files we upload. Thanks though.

Upload handling is mostly done by ProjectObject class (model class of system module). Still, I need to point that, as with any hack, you are the one who will need to maintain it when you decide to upgrade and that things can be pretty complicated due to complexity of application.

We'll consider this feature for future releases (as with all features customers submit to this forum or send directly to support), but we currently can't share any details or timeframe at the moment.

We never comment on future features until they are implemented and ready for testing. It's just the way we work.

Ilija, can you give me any information on a progress bar for uploads? I need to give an answer to our studio who need it as they upload a lot of files that can be 20-30mb in size (proofs for clients etc)

Yes I know about that multiple files on Files section.
But I really don't want the notified persons by my discussion to see a regular: "PS. Other files are being uploaded within this moment, please be patient".

Multi upload is reserved for Files section only at the moment. For other objects you can attach one file when creating an object and additional files using Manage Attachments tool (available in Options dropdown for most objects or the little paperclip icon for comments).
