My users want to be able to see a daily to-do list.
They might have several jobs with to-do's that should be worked on in one day. Does this functionality exist?

Try playing with assignment filters to see how you can filter out assignments on one or across multiple projects (they can additionally be filtered by user assigned and / or due date).
