Hey, just giving a quick update. Ran into some weird flash / AIR problems but other than that things are coming along well. We had to put it down for a little while and get some real work (paying work) out of the way. Here is where we are:

Design Complete
Timer Working (Stop, Start, Reset)
Settings Panel complete (Writing / Reading settings)
API methods

Left to do:
Connecting with real-life API
Applying GUI to code
Testing
Packaging (should be a snap)

Looking to work on it again tomorrow (Friday is typically our fun day). Wish us luck!

Just a heads up - we took a quick look at the API (fantastic system guys!) and saw how easy it was. Literally took us an hour to get acquainted, pulling and posting data to it with a static HTML page. We went ahead and started the design and flash development and have things kicking into an AIR application really quickly.

We will release what we have 100% free. Selfishly the app will only really do what we need it to which is attach times to a selected project. If people dig it maybe we'll ask a few bucks and deliver more features. However, if that meets most people's needs - fantastic. We'll try to get something out there today if we can but AIR can be a pain due to Sandbox permissions. Seems the flash side of things is MUCH easier in those terms so maybe today is possible...

Anyway, have something soon that'll be free / easy / cross-platform.

Guessing nobody has gotten this thing to work yet.... Bummer. Maybe we can whip up a quick AIR app for the AC community. Anyone in need of timer application still? I know we can make it look better and at the very least it would work. PM me if you're interested and if there are enough people to warrant the time we'll get it done.

activeCollab 1.1 upgrade script was designed to change is_system flag for non-system module, I really don't know why it didn't in Leon's case. Still, it is easily fixable, as Mark said. Open acx_modules table and set is_system to all modules except system, resources and milestones. Than clear all cch_ files from /cache folder. That should be it.

Checklist module is not installed by default in activeCollab Corporate since version 1.1.

I see the following change was made in version 1.1: "Modules that are not required for system to work properly can be uninstalled."

If you started back with 1.0 then it's possible either the upgrade wasn't installed properly or perhaps it was never designed to update the DB. There should have been an upgrade script to run I guess, other than just overwriting the files.

Should be easily fixed anyway - if you load your acx_modules table directly you can update the "is_system" value to 0 instead of 1 for any modules that should be uninstallable. This will remove the 'system' message and make them uninstallable as well. You can view my screenshot to find out which ones are meant to be set to 'system.

Thanks for the screen shot - makes it easy to see.

Hmm.. very strange! In my aC, Checklists are listed as System modules? Maybe one of my upgrades hasn't gone through properly...? I'll have to look into that.. aC support will probably be getting a ticket. ;)
