Nice to meet you all.

I'm a self-employed programmer in San Francisco. Work mainly on architecting and developing sites. I leave the css and pretty colors to the graphics people. Used Bascamp for over 6 months till I saw aC. You can imagine I dumped my account immeadiately and installed aC on my server as fast as I could.

I use aC to manage the variety of projects I do with multiple clients. I look forward to a plug-in API so I can expand it to include time tracking for myself & sub-contractors, invoicing, bug tracking, and a few other tasty things I'm dreaming of.

Thanks Ilija!

Nice idea Haya,

I've got an advertising agency and an production agency in Sénégal (in africa). Plus I still work with my old french client on advertising things.
Senegal ads agency is about 10 active aC users since 1 weeks, it's a revolution there :P... Everything is basically oral and now everybody have to write down everything :) it's really cool and amazing to see people investing such in aC.
In the Senegal production company and French ads agency we're 2, working together since 5 years and aC let us having a better view on each other work...
I can get his task when I have time to do them, like him.

Development is my hobby, with aC I can learn how is made a beautiful coded tools, with barbarian things like mvc pattern and db modeling...
Hope to have the time and skill to make some plugin, actually just have natural skill to translate in french :)

Btw thanks a lot Ilija, you're saving time and structuring work of 10 people in Africa, hope my company will grow ;)

I posted a 'hello' in aonther thread before I found this...

I am a UK based freelancer and general layabout (sic) and have worked with lots of Open Source (& closed) over the last few years, I have actively contributed to many well known projects inc phpCollab, osCommerce & WordPress.

I work F/T but keep my hand in with my own stuff: SkratchPad

Mainly use php & mysql. Big fan of CSS and Ajax as this has made the web a nicer place to roam and use.

I want to get involved in aC as it has some serious potential :-)

Hi. I'm a graphic/web designer and budding developer in the process of making a whole bunch of old sites www2 compliant (as well as new ones I'm working on). I just began working with PHP and MySQL, am experimenting and reviewing tons of open source CMS apps and have basically been bitten hard by open source mania! I'm new to this type of software and just decided to try aC for managing my own client job list. I really only need something pretty simple... but I think I can adapt this to my needs (it goes deeper than I need it to). I'm also bilingual (I mostly work in French here in Québec for francophone clients) so I'd be really interested in a French version of this interface.

I'd like to work on some themes and contribute that...

J'ai remarqué qu'il y a au moins une personne (Gaetan) qui aura peut-être besoin de la même chose. On peut parler?

Feature wishlist : Customizable invoices, estimate plugins (I don't bill by hour so don't need time tracking but others have asked about that I see) with ability to select from dropdown client list. Static pages for FAQ, links, etc.

Nice to meet you all! I'm really liking the app so far, well-thought out. Keep it going!

Nice to meet each of you.

I am a web developer/designer in Arizona, in the US. I currently work full time at the Biodesign Institure(biodesign.asu.edu) on web tools for Intranet/Internet use for members of the institute and outside collaborators. I am loving AC at the moment and look forward to adding modules/themes/etc.

Thanks Ilija and everyone involved to this point...

Cheers,
Gregg

Hi all,

I'm a french (un français de plus ;-) web freelancer (JahanDesign.com) in Sophia Antipolis (french riviera).
aC project (and his developper) is the kind of spirit I like very much. Hope to give some help in return.
I use aC for my web projects/clients. Until now, I was using other open source, multi-forked-then-forgotten project softwares like PHPcollab, Netoffice.

Cheers,

Hi,

I'm a management/organization consultant in Germany and workin on public sector projects in Germany and Switzerland. As a privat moonlightning project I am writing a book about "project management in business process mgmt projects" with a collegue and started a second one about aC in German (which will get more attention when the German translation is done).

Therefore it is important for me to coordinate all the different tasks on a central server. Due to the (sometime) intimate chararacter of the projects a hosted solution doesn't fit for me.

Cheers
Roland

PS: Thanks Ilja for the work on aC. Hopefully we can support you soon :-)
