Feature Request: Make Activecollab work with Google Gears for Offline Veiwing
Page: 1
Google gears was sort of in beta stage, but if you go check out google's new browser at google.com/chrome, you'll see that gears is baked into the browser. With a click of a button, gears is able to download my entire google reader account and google docs account so that I can veiw it all offline when I don't have internet access. If active collab had this same once click functionality, that would be incredible.
Google is also planning to release chrome for the mac, so implementing google gears functionality into the activecollab codebase would provide a cross platform solution for viewing and updating activecollab projects where there wasn't internet access.

I'd like to see Google Gears added too (see Google Gears + aC) but I think "viewing and updating activecollab projects where there wasn't internet access" is a big ask... I'm not an expert in this area but I think syncing all data from other users (on and off line) with the data you've added/changed etc. in 'offline mode' would be a lot of work... unless there's some sort of SVN controlling it all?
As a side note I find aC to be already very fast... So this is not high on my request list.
