Creating hyperlinks to files

Can anyone tell if its possible to create hyperlinks to files in the server instead of uploading the files which are already existing in the server at some location.

System can display only uploaded files and attachments in Files section. Currently it is not possible to link to outside resources and have them listed as files.

Thanks for the prompt reply...another question was instead of manually adding people one by one, is there a way to import users from our company directory into Activcollab.

There is no automated way, but if you have someone with programming experience you can use activeCollab API to interact with activeCollab and import contacts from your system. Check this article to learn how you can read and write information about users and companies without changing a single line of activeCollab code or working with the database directly.
