activeCollab 0.7.1 has task lists with plain list of tasks. In activeCollab 1.0 and later, there is a ticket - higher level tasks that can have summary, full description, can be broken into series of subtasks, commented by people etc. Tickets are really flexible and we use them for tasks that are simple and can be done in an hour or so as well as for subprojects that take months to be completed.

Now my question is , is it fit for WBS management , Let's say in all kinds of IT project , Is it possible to use this system to distribute task in very detail ( for example , a function specification writing) to assignee. And trace the completion of the task . Just like Microsoft project does.

I can not found good features to cater this issue.

anyway it seems very good to make work collaboratively . and communication management can be promoted.
