Hi,

It seems that my project's pages do not copy over from a template into a new project. Anyone would know why?

When project is created from the template, only task structure is copied - milestones, tickets and tasks. Project content - discussions, pages, files etc is not moved. Each project is expected to generate its own content. If that does not work for you, you can always copy content you want from template to new project manually.

Ok thanks Ilija, I had read in another thread that more stuff was being copied over and I was wondering what was happening.

Is there a way to copy Pages from Project to Project (aside from cut and paste)? As you noted, Ilija, when a project is created from a template, milestones, tickets, checklists and tasks are copies, but not discussions, pages and files. However, discussions and files have an option to copy or move them (under options), but pages does not have that option.

Thx -

We'll see to introduce copy support for page in one of the upcoming releases.

Hello Ilija,

has there been any development on that? We would need the copy function for the page section, as we have standard-documents which are needed in all projects. Or is there a better solution for projects with repeating work-process-documents?

Thank you for your feedback

appsmagnet.com offers a simple hack that adds this missing functionality for $17. See http://www.activecollab.com/downloads/category/9/package/46
I bought it and I can attest that it works.
