As you noted, Ilija, when a project is created from a template, milestones, tickets, checklists and tasks are copies, but not discussions, pages and files. However, discussions and files have an option to copy or move them (under options), but pages does not have that option.

Project content - discussions, pages, files etc is not moved. Each project is expected to generate its own content. If that does not work for you, you can always copy content you want from template to new project manually.
