You could setup a category in Docs that points to a particular directory on the web server, to make a nice front end for the directory. Doing this would turn off other cool features for this category (namely, the version tracking) but that's okay as long as it was just for this category.

As of the moment, we are still maintaining a separate system for our file repository. It is inconvenient to use activeCollab for this because it requires that we upload files through the browser.

I would like to request for an additional feature allowing us to select files from a directory on the server. With this feature, we can simply upload all our files via FTP.
